Sales Training & Advertising

Our sales training services are designed to educate reservationists, front desk staff and Group Sales Managers on effective sales strategies that will increase closing percentages and maximize revenue. We work closely with staff to improve upon phone etiquette, sales pitches, up selling property, building relationships, contracting, closing techniques and maintaining relationships with clients. We have worked with the Trapp Family Lodge and the Stowe Flake Resort & Spa on developing standards and procedures for the group sales and reservations departments. We have also worked with the Vermont Convention Bureau to promote and increase tourism in Vermont. Our work with the Vermont Convention Bureau and the New England Inns & Resort Association has generated extensive leads and endless networking opportunities.

We have worked with different advertising mediums such as the Burlington Free Press. While working with the Free Press we managed and designed add campaigns for hotels and business’s in Burlington, Vermont. Hospitality Horizons will work closely with marketing personnel to identify and reach target markets through effective add campaigns. Our access to demographic and geographic statistics will assist you in utilizing appropriate advertising mediums and in designing clean, effective ads that will grab the attention of existing and prospective clients.
